Postgraduate study

Postgraduate courses are either research based or taught and can usually only be undertaken once a student has successfully completed an undergraduate degree. However, in some cases relevant work experience may facilitate entry. Postgraduate courses include Masters, Postgraduate Certificates or Diplomas, PhDs and other professional Doctorates.

Please note, Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) courses are available at the University of York (secondary only) and York St John University (primary and secondary Religious Education). These courses are applied for through the Graduate Teacher Training Registry (GTTR) website.
