Types Higher Education courses Different types of Higher Education courses
There are two main types of Higher Education course – Undergraduate courses and Post-graduate courses. Undergraduate courses are those Higher Education programmes which you can study for if you do not already possess a degree. Click here for more information about undergraduate courses.

Postgraduate courses are either taught or research-based and can usually only be undertaken once a student has successfully completed an undergraduate degree. However, in some cases relevant work experience may facilitate entry. Click here for further information on postgraduate courses.
