York St John Business School is helping start-up businesses achieve their goals through its popular Learning through Business Leaders programme.

Facilitated by Britain’s top female coach, Jules Wyman, the course looks at the issues and challenges associated with running a business with other non-competitive course members.

Sharon Winfield, a local business entrepreneur and retailer recently completed the course. She was midway through setting up her bag boutique, Bolsita, on Micklegate, when she started the programme.

“The programme gave me the confidence to realise I was moving in the right direction with my new business,” said Sharon. “It also enabled me to turn theories of business, marketing and branding into practical success.”

The programme is open to business owners in the Yorkshire and Humber region and six places are available for a series of five, four-hour evening sessions.
