Student Finance

Funding Higher Education (HE) can be one of the first concerns on prospective students' minds. But this needn't be so, as for most students, a loan will be available to help cover the cost of tuition and accommodation.

Schools 14-16 2The interactive 'Quick Start Finance Guide', produced by Student Finance England, is a useful resource for students and parents. It covers the different types of student finance available – including how to apply and repay – all in one central place.

Student Finance England have also produced a range of other new resources on their Practitioners' website, including quick start guides, factsheets and videos. There are sets of resources aimed at parents, teachers, HE advisors and to share with students. View the resources on the Practitioners' website.

There is also a lot of useful student finance information on the Student Room website, including the Student Finance Calculator, which will estimate the amount of financial support you could receive.
