National Networks for Collaborative Outreach 

NNCO logoHigher York is one of 34 regional networks for collaborative outreach, funded as part of HEFCE's National Networks for Collaborative Outreach programme. The aim of the NNCO programme is to coordinate links between higher education institutions and secondary schools and colleges.

There are also three national networks, listed below, that cover and provide their services to all of England.

The National Network for the Education of Care Leavers

This network focusses on information and resources for care leavers, and all those that support them, about progression to higher education. 

The Open University

The main focus of this network will be to serve adults looking for simplified advice and guidance on all the non-traditional routes to and through higher education and will include informal to formal journeys.
