Who can help?
Once you've looked at all the usual sources of information (i.e. prospectuses, institutions' websites) you may decide it would be helpful to speak to the following people at the university or college you are interested in applying to:
Central admissions - for information about the entry requirements or admissions procedures for a particular course.
Department admissions tutors - for more information about the content of a particular course or detailed questions about entry requirements.
Careers departments - for information about the types of occupation/ further study you can enter with a particular qualification.
Open days are an excellent way to find out more about particular courses as well as everyday life at the university or college. We would strongly recommend visiting a university or college before applying to study there. View forthcoming open days in York.
